January 21, 1920, Adelong (AUS): A lad named Rufus Kohl employed at El-Ierslie station left the homestead to bring in a horse. His horse returned riderless. A search was instituted and the lad was found two hours later the horse had put a foot in a rabbit furrow and fallen. When found Kohl was unconscious and covered with ants. He was removed to Tumult Hospital in serious condition.
