History was made August 11 at the Dublin Horse Show when the USA fielded an all-female team to win the Nation’s Cup for the Aga Khan Trophy. US has won the Aga Khan Trophy 7 times.

The American squad includes 3 #WARHorses (“women of age”) competing and winning at the pinnacle of international show jumping.

Their male chef d’equipe was Robert Ridland.

Team USA completed two clear rounds, the only zero score in the competition.  Laura Kraut was the last rider with Confu. The double Olympian posted the second US double-clear to secure the win.

The FEI Nation’s Cup Competition Is the most prestigious Show Jumping series for national teams in the world. Held since 1909, present day competition includes seven groups: Europe I, Europe II, North and Central America, South America, Near East, Asia/Australasia and Africa. The best 18 teams will compete in the final event to be held this year in Barcelona, Spain, Sept 28 through Oct 1.
