Congratulations, Alan Davies, 48, Head Traveling Groom for Carl Hester. Alan has travelled the world tending Carl’s top horses, Uthopia, Nip Tuck and the recently retired Valegro. His awards include Team GB Groom of the Year, Horse & Hound Groom of the Year, The British Grooms Association Lifetime Achievement Award, the British Equestrian Federation Medal of Honour (the first groom to receive it) and now FEI’s Best Groom 2017 Award.
