Part of their appeal maybe their lack of permanence. They are not to behold for centuries like the equestrian sculptures of da Vinci or Remington, they are fickle to time. They will soon melt in the sun or wash away in the tide, erased forever by nature.

Their pending demise seems to add to their allure, that and the material from which they rise – built of sand and water. Anyone who has built a sand castle or snowman will appreciate the work that went into these sculptures. The effort is great, the result is fleeting but each makes an indelible impression.

We hope you enjoy our collection of equestrian sculptures, crafted by professional teams and by the neighbors down the street. Each merits applause and appreciation.
